Type 2 is less sensitive to daily life such as exercise, eating etc. Some type 1s have little or no room for unmeasured movement from routine, they need some help and this could be the breakthrough that changes their lives forever. The problems are that the glucose needle electrode does not measure glucose actually i n the blood, and the insulin is also injected under the skin and not into the blood stream,but most importantly it is not easy to derive formulas (programs) that tell how much insulin to infuse in relation to the changes to glucose being measured.
