I think Elon Musk should do this. This is much easier than getting to Mars.

Spudis is a few fries shy of a Happy Meal. There’s probably enough water at the lunar poles to fill a couple of small lakes on Earth. On Mars, there may be enough to fill the Atlantic. Which one is the better option to support a large settlement? And keep it growing?

A permanent settlement is a still a permanent settlement…better than the space station as an intermediary point between the earth and mars

If we put a Micky D up there, we could make a gazillion dollars from the UFO,s. We’ll get them so hooked that they’ll be lined up for miles at the drive through. Seriously, through near earth activities we can make it cost effective to do the moon work proposed here. From the moon we can do the mars and asteroid work. There is so much to learn still, and a ton of infrsstructure that would be needed to achieve each of these steps. At least near earth access is starting to become more economical.

Why not tap into one of the ufo’s on the moon? you might get some power that way.

Sorry, but I can’t understand this one. Do you really believe those UFO stories?
