is this based on the Tesla files which the FBI was rumored to have confiscated after Tesla's death?

This just looks like a large compressor jet similar to all out technology. I doubt they will declassify anything that is new or unique.

I would think there are 2 different types of spacecraft designs...... One for landing where there is an atmosphere and one for long space travels. Both designs being different, or maybe a long distance spacecraft needing a totally different design to block small debris with a smaller craft designed for landing and then returning to the mother-ship from planets with an atmosphere. I think it is cool that people thought..."what if" those silver disks are real...lets try to build one and see if it works from an engineering point of view. I guess there is also some good thinking that IF you could build a spacecraft to travel a few million light years, then maybe it is just as easy to build 1 design that can do both in 1... and maybe also the theory that smaller is better (takes less energy to get you up to speed, so smaller is better).

I am still convinced all those UFO's are without alien life forms in them (maybe 20% are unidentified flying objects including weather balloons and top secret planes we made, or light flashes or gasses in clouds or weather anomalies and the other 80% are spoofs, Frisbees, acid trips/flashbacks, or assorted mistakes of vision from people who likely truly believe in what they saw) . I am afraid the sad truth is that we are just ridiculousness way too far apart to expect visitors yet and also that evolution of the universe is still very, very young in total picture and we may not be alone but we may be one of less than only 10 or 4 civilizations in the Universe that can build a radio tower (or more).

If you had figured out all the cool secrets of space travel and could switch from life on a planet to life inside a spaceship....then you have a ton of advanced things figured out (that we sure don't)... why would you want to visit us? Yeah, maybe just curious nature....I get that... maybe to help share your knowledge of the universe (lets hope so)....my guess is if there is alien life somewhere else, they are solving way bigger problems than coming to visit with us... (just saying).

Yes, I have done the math on how many stars are in our universe and how many planets may be around them... but I still am a firm believer in the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rare_Earth_hypothesis What if we are the only ones....? Or what if we are not alone, but are first by just 10,000 years or so.... or what if we are all just so far apart it never really matters who else is out there?

I am the first to wish I am wrong and hope there are other alien planets bursting with intelligent life (that can build a radio tower and not just some intelligent dolphins swimming around), but for now at least and for the next 100 years or so, I think this will prove to be the Biggest mystery to stay unanswered (are we alone?).

Just my 2cents of course... that and $5 will buy you a cup of coffee in today's prices. I will keep hoping SETI finds something... but for now Seth can warm up my cup of coffee.... I like it with some caramel drizzle please and put that swirl in the top that looks like the milky way.... Thanks! https://www.ted.com/talks/seth_shostak_et_is_probably_out_there_get_ready.html

Flying saucers can be built, I've used one. Regrettably it was a toy with remote control.

However the principle is there:
What advantages does it have over eg skylon?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skylon_(spacecraft)

or any phalic shape?

It is supposed to go through the air, in outer space and under water, right?

Little doubt that with enough R&D/capitol/procurement it could be achieved.
The stealth fighter isn't far off.
My flying saucer kept crashing against the top of the shopping mall and didn't work in the wind.
