Any meteor, comet, or asteroid can pick up these seeds and deliver the goods to a planet. The impact event could provide enough energy to cause these precursors to assemble into more complex macro-molecules. This would also melt the delivered ice, providing a nice primordial soup to cook up some life. Stir in a cup of sunlight, two pinches of geothermal heat, a dash of solar wind from a nearby star, and mix with a lightning bolt. This discovery is awesome!
