Love this mobile human robot idea...

At work we use HDskype and GoTomeeting.com and www.joinme.com more and more every week. Cost of travel beyond time and hassle is always going up and the need to meet in a few seconds from now, vs. even drive across town happens even more in this day and time. Had me thinking that old ideas of robots being run by advanced AI software may either be too far off to enjoy the benefits now.... and since human labor is still so cheap (insert joke here for AT&T's phone help from India)...why not have some hybrid that would let a robot float around the office and you could call it for a particular task at any needed time. You scroll through a list of active online people trained for each task, then you pick one and are connected live with 2way camera on both ends...you pay per minute and only when happy with the support/service. In summary human run robots... a hybrid of 2 great ideas.... as robots continue to develop and AI software gets better the robots run mundane tasks and slowly merge over to be less and less need for human use. You even monitor what the humans are needed for and find more and more subtle ways to use them less and less. Anyhow.. justMy2cents...
