There are two ways of looking at this:
1. Prepare to fight for your freedom, literally, and this time at home, and not on the other side of the planet killing people for petroleum.
2. Shoot at stuff for fun, then go home and get indoctrinated by your “free” media, sign up for the army because it’s “cool” and requires no education, and end up shooting people in other countries for petroleum.

So I guess the real question is: do these boys know which choice to make? And IMHO, looking at their gleeful faces shooting at moving “things” the answer is: no! :(

David, there are workarounds for jamming spread spectrum that I won’t mention, but jammers should be aware that they may attract some unwanted attention from sigint and FCC folks.

Firstly, man those Texas boys can’t shoot very well. Secondly, my solution would be to use the radio frequency the drone operates on to alter the performance, take over the controls or just jamm the signals in and out. No noise, no unintended injuries, no spying.

My apologies for being so harsh. I realized that you as the editor thought that this would promote a dialog, and it did. My wrath is more directed to the shooters. This issue is not well understood by even the supreme court in my eyes, and GW Bush took a page from V For Vendetta to spy on us for our own good. The question remains the same. Who watches the Watchmen? In that movie Ozzy is the winner. But who governs his actions. It becomes a matter of perspective. In my view intention is everything. Who’s doing what to whom? The drone video doesn’t even touch the surface of this issue. I. The long run I’d develop drones to and support their use. Bush,s mistake was to circumvent judicial over site. Who watches the watchmen. The long term problem is the loading of the courts for a political agenda. Like in the movie, how do you decide which perspective is right. That movie dives deep into this very issue and leaves it unresolved. I greatly appreciate your work and this web site. I mean you no disrespect or I’ll will. Please continue doing the same.

Our legal system already has more than enough wiggle room to use them. Even before the supreme court was subverted to give life to corperate entities. At this point, short of constitutional amendment, they’ve got total legal justification. I wrote about how those tech enclaves at sea won’t exist without overview . Government has the justification to discern your intentions. I’ve been pulled over by cops while drivingwhile white justifications. The police officer said I was erratic in my behavior. I turned on my signals to enter the road from a parked position and then made the first right turn less than two car lengths away. That’s proper motor vehicle protocol ,yet he conflates it into a reason to search me and my vehicle. They legally have us by the balls. Good luck trying to change that! The problem is the same. The vast majority of people lack morals and ethics. Anyone can abuse any power. Our diamonds would be more directed to what is our place in this world and how we should relate to each other. Too many rebels without a cause , raining on others parades.

This appears to be childish. I feel like I’m watching five year olds playing with their toy’s. Is this really on Rays web site? Isay this in the possessive sense, as in , does Ray see this trivialization of understanding? I can easily spy on people with just a DVR and traffic cams. To personally deploy or official deploy a tiny drown I could conceivably do tremendous harm to a person or organization, let alone compile damaging information,and by harm I’m implying death and or worse. That poor child who committed suicide , because of a hidden camera disclosing his hidden sexuality, is nothing in comparison to what someone could do with a tiny all but invisible drone. They could conceivably administer any lethal compound, biological or chemical! And what do we bear witness to here? Exactly the problem it self! Why don’t you morons shot it down with a nuclear bomb at least you’d be dead too, like the drone! You all lack a sense of morals and ethics,and that includes the editors. I’d like to here what Ray feels about this issue.it’s all just pandering to MAD. An endless escalation of envation, retaliation and destruction. At least in the movie war games, someone learns. This video is so staged , and to what point? This is serious. We all need to examine the ramifications of our actions. Drones posses the capabilities to empower anyone to remotely do anything. Let’s actually examine the permeatations, of this and other technology.. Bullets against a drone. What do you do when the drone is so small you can’t see it.
