Bigger isn't always better. More consistent, simpler, flexible, and self-referencing design comes from a unified mind. Groups of people are not a unified mind. My latest progress in the high level design of hybrid Human/AI minds (could do AI alone, but why?) is these 2: Newer: http://www.kurzweilai.net/forums/topic/input-and-output-paths-between-ideas-are-subconsciously-chosen-every-few-seconds Older, more detailed, and has some things the newer lacks: http://www.kurzweilai.net/forums/topic/how-human-intelligence-works ---- Where science, religion, and philosophy connect, at this 1 technical statement: Nonexistence is isomorphic to the set of all self-consistent possibilities. It means that all possibilities that do not contradict themselves, total something which is infinitely symmetric and cancels-out to zero, so its the same shape as nonexistence, and since nonexistence is made of "nothing" and existence is made of "something" and those are only labels and labels don't change content, nonexistence equals the set of all self-consistent possibilities, so its like a mobius strip that appears to have 2 sides (existence and nonexistence) but there is only 1 side. The recursive and fractal ways that connects to brainwaves is where it connects to religion and philosophy. The technical way its defined is how it connects to science, especially how unity only supports unitary transformations.
