Cars of the Future
I may be nostalgic but it's good to see GM back on top. Wasn't that long ago their Flagship, the new & old Camaro modeled after the perfection designers achieved in 69 nearly didn't make it into production at all. Along with the rest of the line.
HeavyChevy lives and is keeping up with the times very nicely.

Me and my boyhood first car story is a 69 Camaro. I cut grass, pushed papers and humped freight at my father's trailer docks from the time I was twelve till I was 17 putting it together. God damn thing was nasty. Ran it at 75/80 on the weekends. By night's pass, Marnie, my girlfriend at the time would be hot'n bothered to drive on the way home and would scare me into laughing fits the way she wanted to race everything she saw.
The times she would drive us into Balto and the Point that summer, with her yellow hair whipping around.. the world could have ended and it would have been fine with me. It was magic. No doubt she's still hot footin' it in her family Volvo more often than not. Lol
Somehow I can't imagine the kids of tomorrow will have nearly as much fun in an electric cart.
If hot cars were intended to be quiet they'd have a fucking mast. :)

Carroll Shelby - "The American Icon" - can kiss my Kentucky rebel ass. For those in the dark the guy was and is a hustler of the first order.
Course anybody that can con Ford and the AC Brits into marrying the Cobra into existence can't be all bad.
