“Invisible glass” (with special anti-reflection film), solar-powered flexible E-paper with integrated battery and photovoltaic cells, high-resolution (2560×1600) tablet displays from Samsung (for iPad 3?), and MEMS-based transmissive/reflective displays were among the advances in display technology presented at the Flat Panel Display International Exhibition in Japan.
