The Methuselah foundation Mprize is (seemingly) stalling, and anyway, mus musculus normal lifespan is too much to QUICKLY assess effects of genetic changes. Not so with yeast which already has a lot in common with us humans at the biochemical level. I subscribe to your idea but for a more interesting prospect than just beer taste, LONGEVITY.
