Lol. Speaking about the miracle of Marketing: I missed this one ; “Ipad is a concentration, not a reduction”. The beauty of choosing the right politically-correct words
Well, so you are not small, you are “concentrated”…
I don’t understand the ignorance and cluelessness on this forum. Miniaturization of technology is one of the key elements of technological progress, and this is a part of it. Nanotechnology, for example, is all about making objects smaller, and it will eventually lead to robotic blood cells and neurons. You should be celebrating progress in miniaturization rather than sniping at it.
Well, if you have 20/20 vision comfortable reading is possible even from 3 inch screen, that is why 5 inch is standard for e-readers. 7.9 inches with 4/3 aspect ratio doubles the screen size of a typical eBook reader. I would say, that 7.9″ screen is too big for mini tablet. Device like Galaxy Note 2 is far more portable and usable on the go. than iPad mini.
Ciompletely useless.
Too big to put in your pocket. A smartphone do that better and besides you can phone with it!
-Too small to read. No, you can’t read newspaper, or magazine as said in the video! A normal page is between 12 inches or 13 inches (the previous Ipad is still a little too small but it could be more or less okay).
and for internet, you can’t surf with 2 or 3 tablets open with this screen size…
But we will see what the miracle of marketing can do and makes people believe it’s exactly what they must have when they have absolutely no need of that before…
“Too big to put in your pocket?” Au contraire. It should fit very nicely in a jacket pocket. “Too small to read?” You can say that of any other similar device. Convincing people that it’s “exactly what they must have when they have absolutely no need of that before?” Isn’t that true of all new technologies?
But the screen resolution is disappointing. Besides, it is so overpriced that it appears for what it really is : an arrogant product from an arrogant company.
Please, don’t bash Google, they are backing the Singularity University
when Apple cash machine (blessed with so much cash, they don’t know what to do with it) is not even able to do so.

You mean arrogant like Google?

Google’s Nexus is topping iPad mini on every respect. It will also top the iPad 3 or 4 screen resolution next week with a 10” tablet
