At birth the brain is impressionable and programmed to learn as it grows. If we wish to teach ideas through language then best to begin early… to teach the singularity I am trying to write for middle grades (9-12) as aiming lower will confuse and aiming higher will capture those less likely to pursue big ideas, My hero at this age was Tom Swift, and now I have time and money to focus on teaching what seems most useful:)

So much to do, so little time. Sucks to be at the cusp and perhaps fall just short. For me, goal is to write middle grade books like Tom Swift and gently shift a new generation toward implicit understanding of the singularity. Convincing old fogies may have political implications, but the long term view should be to aim at our ten year olds:)
