Japan gets hit with earthquakes so much that they are used to it. It's a lot like San Fransico only worse. The island is like a bumper car zooming into the mainland. Another area to watch is the mediteranian. For all you transhumanist that are going to live a gazillion years, as Africa slams into Europe, it will crush that sea and make another Himalayas.
