A lot of what this guy said is not an argument against technology, but is instead an argument for seriously rethinking our immigration laws. Yeah, it may not stop all terrorism, such as biological terrorism, but it will certainly put a dent in it. And remember that 9/11, the deadliest terrorist attack in history, was low-tech. As far as gun control solving our problems, 3-D printers pretty much puts a damper on that claim. And contrary to what Goodman tried to imply, border guards and immigration control DO work. It’s going to become more and more apparent that they are necessary as time progresses.

This guy is so polarized a nd yet he can’t see. Because he’s from the law enforcement perspective, he is sworn to uphold the law. You break it your a criminal, deserving of punishment. It’s not so black and white. On one of my job site, there was a fifty seven year old columbian maid. She was identical to the maid character from Down and out in Beverly Hills. Revolution, revolution, the same exact dialog. They have been oppressed since the conquistadors. There are many popular songs, glorifying the Bandito. For them to put up those cell towers, it’s like a freedom flag. Don’t forget Che Gavara, Castro, they have many popular, almost Robinhood like characters, that they idealize. Don’t forget Apocalypto, Mel Gibsons movie. The ancient cultures thought that blood sacrifice was necessary for life. When Jesus came into thier lives, it made great sense to them. His blood sacrifice and suffering was normal. They used to keep the bones of thier deceased under the house. Death has a totally different meaning in thier cultural background. The ruthlessness and bloodshed to enact change is a normal part of thier lives. They don’t “want ” to die, but just like the maid, they will fight and sacrifice to get thier beliefs, and many of those beliefs are of the westernized worlds exploitation of them. Like how so many black friends of mine knew OJ killed Nicole, they celebrated his beating “whitey” at thier game. They told me this straight out. They still feel oppression. If your in jail, who are you going to side with. The guards or the inmates. It’s like a college for career criminals. Not only that it’s a greet place to network. Polarization! Of coarse Mexico and Columbia love the drug trade. It’s a great way to get back at whitey! Now that you see the speakers fear is based on an inability to understand the other side, when he asks for more money to fight the WAR on terrorism, or drugs, maybe you won’t want to fuel this fire. It’s like spinning a revolving door! Endless!

I admit I might be a bit of a conspiracy theorist..
However, I thought similar..
That is, when he called the terrorists bad guys, as far as I understand the situation, we as a society have indebted ourselves to the bankers, both on the individual level and on the governmental level..
Many radicals do not like our banking system, it is a affront to their way of life and anti-banking is a big part of sharia law.
So we go in, and once we conquer a group of people, the first thing we do is try to indebt them..
I cannot in good conscious say our military and society is 100% good and righteous and theirs are 100% wrong and evil…

he says ‘the narcos’… yeah well there’s a reason ‘the narcos’ are so powerful in mexico.. your beloved ‘law enforcement’ and ”government’ are corrupt to the core. the ‘narcos’ are poor mexican people trying to make a living under an oppressive regime which slaughters native indians and steals their lands and gives it to american mega-agricorps. You know nerds like you can’t fucking see the other side of the story ever, u think that mexicans just one day woke up and decided to become criminals. where you see terrorists others see people who arent even legally allowed to own a fruit-stand, people who are checkpointed and stripsearched as they are driving their wives to the emergency room to deliver babies, I see regimes which saw the hands off thieves and corrupt ‘law enforcement’ and ‘government’ which openly tortures and rapes women. You know americans forgot all about the irish being massacred in the streets by british MPs.. what are people supposed to fucking do? not ever ever fight back?
