There was a big discussion on this site yesterday about politics and science.  These little capacitors are made with cobalt and tantalum found as nuggets in African streams.  The miners who pan for these nuggets are forced by rebels living in the bush to pay &quot;taxes&quot; to support their guerrilla bands.  

This is why we can&#039;t stop discussing politics here.  Global politics gets into everything we do.</description>
