I LOVE FUTURE TECHNOLOGY.

I will embrace the Singularity because:

1. Nano-robots sent by the Singularity will swarm around the planet (WITHOUT turning everything into grey paste), and CLEAN IT ALL UP.
a. All these robots will pick up every last MOLECULE of garbage, rifle through all landfills and anywhere where garbage lays, and recycle all recyclables.
b. When it enters every last body of water on the planet, all bad impurities will be broken down to their molecular constituents and reprocessed to make more nano-robots or other brand-new things.
i. All over the 3rd World, their drinking water is comparatively our sewage. The nanorobots would strip out every last infectious impurity there ever is, and for the first time, give the underprivileged a TASTE of the first world. This would be the tip of the iceberg; the 3rd World will become a thing of the past soon after the nanorobots start to perfect it.

2. Nano-robots, when imbibed by a human, will scan every last cell in the body for any smallest imperfection. All cancer, all BAD bacteria, all viruses, all GONE!
a. Eyesight - restored to utter perfection molecule-by-molecule, from the front of the eye to the end of the eye nerve well into the brain.
b. Intelligence - as the nano-robots repair, renovate, and upgrade every last brain synapse in all willing people, the average IQ level will soar an indeterminate number of points, and mental retardation will be a thing of the past!
i. If a neurosurgeon-general so chooses, he could set the minimum IQ on every living person to 150, and the nano-robots would obey accordingly.
c. Life-threatening accidents - When nanorobots detect an accident within a mile of them, they all swarm and converge to the site, and immediately start nanoworking on the vehicles and casualties. As they all franticly mend the broken bodies, and then repair the vehicle next, they save so much grief, heartbreak, and medical bills.
d. Old age. Nanorobots are to clear out every last molecule of arterial plaque from all blood vessels, arteries, veins, and capillaries to throw Heart Disease and Heart Failure into the past for the first time in history.
i. We look older because cells accumulate molecular "trash". The more of it each cell has, the older we look and the more stressed our bodies get. Is this also why we gain weight? Regardless, all of our nano-robots will also act like molecular garbage trucks; they will scrub every last cell of this "trash" and cart them out of our bodies. Therefore, we stay young forever.
