i have a theory that our universe has already been expelled from a blackhole like somebody popping a spot, once the pressure was off our singularity expanded like a fish brought up from the depths, but also that now our universe is now FALLING within its own space time bubble into another lighter universe like water into oil,but falling at a speed that causes weightlessness within the universal bubble, but also that our universe is tumbbling within the bubble but we have no sense of tumbbling or up or down, exept maybe the earths molten core which rights itself as it tumbles to point to true north and south to the direction the universe is falling.i do not have any backgroud in science so i know i'll be shot to bits but will be greatful for any comments

I've had similar thoughts.
I've imagined that the matter/energy of the universe didn't "explode", in an outward direction from the singularity point/origin, but that space/time exploded/inflated/expanded, and that all the matter/energy is falling inwards, toward the great attractor/omega singularity from the expanding edges of space/time/
I call it the 'rain of fire' hypothesis.

must is such a bright bone to pick,
it seems quite strong, even brave.
like it's coming through
all the way to an other side,
where everything is still felt
cracked but not broken.

almost bitter as a stone,
yet still felt its weight hung low,
cutting somewhere deep.
wait to see how much it has grown.
this place made its own,
this time taken in stride.

"There are four or five serious philosophical questions. The first one is 'Who started it?' The second is 'Are we going to make it?' The third is 'Where are we going to put it?' The fourth is 'Who's going to clean up?' And the fifth, 'Is it serious?'" - Alan Watts

when answering the call
I live within
slumber awaking
I dive into
clarity of thought astounding

I dream without words
speaking soundlessly

the I in the eye is I
the fly in the sty is caught
unaware

post script: When Alan Watts says there are four or five serious philosophical questions is he making a joke when one of the questions is 'Who's going to clean up?', I wonder. Who really is going to clean up?

Death cleans up, but it's Destiny that locks the door behind.

Dear SUN,

Metaphors can be dangerous. They can be misleading.

maybe the earths molten core which rights itself as it tumbles to point to true north and south to the direction the universe is falling.

This conjecture has a lot of problems... I'll point to just one: Why should just the EARTH align itself to the universe's "true north and south?" What's so special about the Earth? Shouldn't EVERY planet with a magnetic field likewise align itself in the manner you describe?

i do not have any backgroud in science so i know i'll be shot to bits but will be greatful for any comments

Very wise of you to concede that. By the way: It's spelled "grateful."

why falling?
cause there's no where to land.
why not leaping?
cause the universe is not an island
why not sailing?
cause space is another kind of sea.
well landlubbers may not agree
as the sailors yell, "Anchors away!"

thank you red,i did realise that i was using to many metaphors like to much sugar in tea,but like you say why should earth be any different when it comes to magnetic poles all i can say to that perhaps because most heavenly centres are of different compositions and spin they would right themselves at different speeds perhaps objects with similar centres eg earths molten centre right there fields quicker than say jupiter with its maybe more solid centre.so maybe one day we will be able to detect other living planets with by there similar magnetic fields.but i'm GRATEFUL you took it easy on me.

Dear SUNSHAKER,

Initially, you proposed that the Earth's north and south poles would align with the "direction in which the universe is falling." When I pointed out that there's nothing special about the Earth's magnetic field (some planets have a stronger field, some a weaker field), you modified your theory, saying the differing composition of planetary cores might account for the disparity in time the planets require to "right" themselves. (See, I WAS trying to follow your line of reasoning.) I suspect that, if I were to disprove those assumptions, too, you would again modify your theory.

This tendency - to revise a theory as more and more data is amassed (or objections are raised) which refutes that theory - is the earmark of a poor theory.

On a personal note, SUNSHAKER: How old are you? And what is your native language? Any science background?

Redakteur

like you say red,i have no science backgroud,i am a english middle aged groud worker, does that exclude me from thinking just because i dont have the eloquence with words or the science backgroud?and should not a theory adapt the more it is thought about, and yes i had already thought about the different compositions of heavenly bodies before you mentioned them.it was just a brief outline but i find it hard to put my ideas into words,it is the first time i have ever wrote in a forum,i suppose i could go to my local pub and talk about football which most of the people i know talk about but i have many ideas in my head and no one to tell them to,to me this is just a one off,and i shall once again disapear.ps is a poor theory better than no theory?

Only if the theory is entertaining. What’s a ground worker ?

You should meet up with Eldras. I think he lives in your country and he organises regular meetings at which people discuss ideas such as yours.
