MIT Clean Energy Prize Program 2012

April 11, 2012

MIT | Now in its 5th year, the MIT Clean Energy Prize Program is an exciting, annual collaboration between the MIT Clean Energy PrizeMIT Enterprise Forum, and NSTAR, featuring a free, exhibition-style showcase of student-driven companies competing for the illustrious $200,000 MIT Clean Energy Prize.

Following the showcase, attend a fireside chat with Bill Joy, cofounder of Sun Microsystems and partner at Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield, and Byers, and Jason Pontin, chairman of the MIT Enterprise Forum and editor in chief and publisher of Technology Review — who will discuss the difficulties of building sustainable economic models for clean energy.  Joy and Pontin will examine the potential of new technologies and describe career opportunities in clean energy.  Register to attend the fireside chat.

The Clean Energy program seeks to address the technological and economic challenges facing the future of clean energy.  We hope you will join us April 30th at the Hilton Hotel – Back Bay in Boston, Massachusetts for what promises to be an enlightening, engaging, and hopeful day of thoughtful discussion on the future of clean energy.
