Is immortality possible? Is it desirable? Last week we delved into the topic of extreme life extension with futurist/inventor Ray Kurzweil and took note of an anti-aging initiative proposed by British gerontologist Aubrey de Grey and his colleagues. Now David Despain has pointed me toward his interview with de Grey, posted to the KurzweilAI website. Give it a look, and weigh in with your second thoughts.

I think the best idea to take to all Singularity like technology is a reasonable amount of optimism, but as well a good degree of skepticism. Everything Ray Kurzweil says will happen, is entirely possible. But the work needs to be done too. We cannot allow ourselves to fall into another ‘World of Tomorrow’ scenario, where we wait for inventions that no one is working on. The aging and the new generation must both work towards it, but it is entirely possible.

conciusness is something that had always exist, sience the beginning of creation, but is evolutioning into one same energy, one same web of information. If you want to be inmortal in the robot body you have to die first, and then translate your soul directly from the city of Anubis. In fact, the robot that will be your new temple will must identify spirits from the other planes, and have the permission as well as the spirit as well as the machine, “I am the same “
