When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each

Thank’s Vlad. These were great links. I read Space.com and LiveScience every day, but had not heard of the Nautilus-X. It’s looking good. We must hope that Dr. Zubrin is wrong about the VASIMR engine. But even if he’s right, the Nautilus-X could be propelled with ion-drive engines that have already worked for the Dawn probe that has traveled out to the asteroid Vesta.

I’m surprised that no one of you hasn’t mentioned this NASA concept, after the 40-year long stagnation I hope that NASA will eventually build something that looks like a real spaceship!
