Prof. Marco Aurelio De Castro Junior, of the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil) will give a talk on Robot as a Legal Individual on September 12 at the University of Hong Kong.

The talk will present research artificial intelligence from a legal perspective. Can a robot become a legal individual for all effects? Should a robot be entitled to demand rights and to be demanded against? Should a robot be considered a living being?
