In that story, Brian Wilcox, manager of Space Robotics Technology at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, says, "Within the next 10 to 15 years, we will likely witness robot performance marching through all of vertebrate evolution, up to and including humans." He also speaks of an 18" wafer with the equivalence of 10 billion neurons of processing power. Now apply Moore's law. In six years there will be four doublings, bringing that number up to 160 billion. There are only 100 billion neurons in the human brain. So you see, they will be taking all our jobs damn fast.
