i would add another poster to the wall; “only humans can think and behave irrationally. one poster says, “only humans can translate language”. We could buy a electronic translator that translates french to english. (or any language to any other). Many people have difficulty translating one person’s english into their own english, i know what i mean by that, but do you? Example; if one says, ” beware, there are demon spirits in the swamp.” Another, who has been educated in modern chemistry might think; the ‘one’ is superstitious, plant material in a state of decomposition produces methane… I could translate “demon spirit” as “some phenomena which i cannot detect with my five sences can have unfortunate effects in people.” In short, an artificial entity could concievably be programmed by an sentient entity to perform any task if the intelligent operator has the sum total set of sufficent skills.
