Singularity University goes international with executive program in Brazil

September 27, 2010

Singularity University (SU) announced today that it is launching its first international program, in Brazil.

In partnership with FIAP (one of Brazil’s foremost technology universities), the six-day executive program will be held November 8-13, 2010 at the FIAP campus in São Paulo. The program is open to the public, and is designed for professionals and graduate-level students — from executives to MBA students to entrepreneurs to government leaders — to understand how accelerating technologies will transform and impact society, business and careers.

Key SU faculty — including Dan BarryAndrew Hessel,  Neil Jacobstein, and Salim Ismail — will be on-site for group lectures and discussions in six subject areas, including biotechnology, artificial intelligence and nanotech. Special video presentations from SU co-founders Ray Kurzweil and Peter H. Diamandis and other world-class faculty will also be integrated into the program. All sessions will be conducted in English with simultaneous translation in Portuguese.

The program is open to the public, and spots are still available. For more information or to register, visit the Singularity University or FIAP (in Portuguese) program pages.
