Summer NAMM 2011

March 12, 2011

Summer NAMM, July 21–23, is a celebration of independent music dealers and suppliers who support them. These retailers are the foundation of the industry, and are the audience poised to help people grow the market, create brand awareness and sell products. Since last year, NAMM management has done a bit of rescheduling and added a public day, which will get consumers buzzing about products in time for the fall and holiday shopping season.

At 2011 Summer NAMM, there will be:

• Retailers — the Top 100 Dealers will be honored at a new awards event, recognizing the retailers at the top of the field, and encouraging them to be there to get a look at the products, gear and technology that will be launched.
• Increased time to maximize business goals, with new show days/hours — Thursday through Saturday — to help facilitate business on the show floor. Plus, a focus on the future, with NAMM’s commitment to producing Summer NAMM in Nashville each July through 2013.
• Integration of many segments in the music products community — NAMM has worked to build a relationship with corporate buyers, educators, houses of worship and decision-makers from a variety of music focused industries.
• Ideas, provided every half hour at the Idea Center Sessions, providing buyers with the tools they need to better sell products.
