I have no Idea as yet of the extent of Progress of my skin cancer manifesting the same appearance as hers, but Do believe it is much more important for a female to keep her appearance so will accept whatever comes

Regeneration is a great thing, the sooner we can decouple regenerative techniques from surgery the better. I can see how down the road, a 3-D printed scaffold seeded with stem cells and regrowth factors could bring back the ear and all its components (eardrum, etc.) included. In 100+ years cutting someone open with a knife will seem as barbaric as sawing off a limb with an infected saw as we saw 100-years ago.
