		<description>Your final paragraph was well put and encapsulates the gist of our human quandary: if we don&#039;t shift our culture away from waste, power imbalance, and exploitatio of natural resources, we&#039;re doomed. I think Kurzweil is on to something though, insofar as technology as a vector of communication can accelerate that cultural shift, which will in turn yield greater technology for accomodating it.
