Becker MD and Gary Selden, William Morrow & Company, 1985, for experimentation dating from the late 1950's by Becker and with references to much earlier work, giving generous credit to pioneers in cell research. I am not sure how the committee selects what, when and whom to annoint, but apparently it takes at least two generations of the medical elite to get with it and to give up their out-dated personal preferences?!
