UAI 2016 Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence

June 11, 2016

The Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence (UAI) is one of the premier international conferences on research related to knowledge representation, learning, and reasoning in the presence of uncertainty. UAI is supported by the Association for Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence (AUAI).

Invited speakers will discuss Statistics, Machine Learning & the Detection of Gravitational Waves; Online optimization of power networks; Structured Prediction and Deep Learning: Past, Present, and Future; and Total positivity and Markov structures.

Workshops will include Causation: Foundation to Application, Bayesian Applications Workshop, and Machine Learning for Health.

Tutorials will include Discrete Sampling and Integration in High Dimensional Spaces, Parallel and High-performance Computing for Speeding up Machine Learning Algorithms, Integrative Logic-Based Causal Discovery, and Reasoning Under Uncertainty with Subjective Logic.

UAI 2016 will be held in the New York City area, at the Westin Jersey City Newport Hotel (located across the Hudson river from Manhattan), from June 25th to 29th, 2016. The conference will be located close in time and location with the ICML 2016 (June 19-24, 2016 in New York, NY) conference and the Conference on Learning Theory (June 23-26, New York NY).
