		<description>i remember when the unforeseeable future of technology was 50 to 100 years away. now it seems that even trying to imagine what technology will be like in 10 years is pretty much unforeseeable. the rate of advancement is dizzying.

		<description>It seems there&#039;s a lot about graphene that we aren&#039;t told, or at least that I haven&#039;t seen. Is there an ineherent roughness due to tetrahedral shape of the carbon bonds? What&#039;s the spacing between carbon atoms? (These two answers might also tell us the real thickness of the layers.)  Can anything pass between the carbon atoms of a &quot;solid&quot; sheet&quot;? Just how strong is it? How big of a piece has been made, or can be made?</description>
