This research is a big step forward, but the road towards simulating even a simple organism with the complexity of this worm, down to the molecular level, is long, taking us probably at least a decade out. With a breakthrough in quantum computing, it might happen soon, though.

 However, either way, I find that prospect very exciting.  A less complex organism was recently simulated to a pretty detailed level, and while it might not deliver our walking, talking robots just yet, it&#039;s really significant.</description>
