Host Antony Funnell is a Walkley award-winning journalist and broadcaster. He has been the presenter of Future Tense since 2009. Prior to that, he fronted Media Report on ABC Radio National. Over the past two decades he has worked for many of the country’s leading news and current affairs programs, including AMPM, the 7.30 ReportBackground Briefing and Radio National Breakfast. Other awards include the New York Festival’s Silver World Medal and Worldfest Flagstaff International Film Festival Award (USA) for Television production. He is currently writing a book based on the Future Tense series.
