SC17 Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage & Analysis

May 17, 2017

The International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis

Unlike any time in history, HPC is allowing us to analyze mountains of data to prove long standing theories about our universe, our climate, our health, and our interests in many other research domains. Areas of the world now have access to new materials that help to slow down climate change…Coastal cities are evacuated before hurricanes claim lives…New precision medicine techniques bring new hope to our families and friends… Humanity is connected as never before through these discoveries. HPC brings together the computing systems and brilliant minds in this pursuit for a better world and our place in the cosmos.

SC17 will once again bring together the international high performance computing community—a gathering of scientists, engineers, researchers, educators, programmers, system administrators and developers that is unequaled in the world—for an exceptional program of technical presentations, papers, informative tutorials, timely research posters and Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) sessions. The SC17 Exhibition Hall will feature the latest technologies and accomplishments from the world’s leading vendors, research organizations and universities; SC17 provides the unique opportunity to see the latest technologies that will shape the future of large-scale technical computing and data-driven science.

In 2017, SC is returning to lively Denver, Colorado. Known as the Mile High City, Denver enjoys 300 days of sunshine each year and offers a multitude of beautiful views, dining and activity options in the pedestrian-friendly city center near the Denver Convention Center.

Attending SC is an important part of any HPC professional’s annual development, and the SC conference series is committed to ensuring that all who wish to take part are able to do so. We are proud to announce that once again SC17 will provide onsite childcare during the conference. Keep an eye on the conference newsletter and social networks for details on this service as they emerge.
