This BBP is as great as human genome project if not
More daunting. I am very pleased that these responsible
great thinkers finally decided to integrate what all we know into focused goal utilizing the supercomputer data mining genetic profiling statistics etc
A reminder of bioinformatics of the Brain.

This guy is obviously going at this incredibly complicated task full-force. He’s creating a BrainOS that will probably have immesnse value even if it does not achieve consciousness. And his design seems to allow for later refinement/back-substitution of the modular elements, which will allow for iterative improvements in the holistic model.

I don’t speak English very well but, did that man, Mr Henry Markram, just call (Pt. 1 – 13:35) every Israeli an “irregular character kind of person” and every Swiss “an exact kind of person”?
I am neither neuroscientist nor psychologist yet I’ve heard about something called prejudice. Maybe he knows way more israelis and swisses than I do since he took his Ph.D. in Israel but maybe I should write him personally and ask the reasons on the analogy.
Please someone tell him before he gets into trouble. It would be a shame since it really seems he knows what he is talking about and makes it look interesting even for those of us who have not much of a clue about it.
Good luck to the blog and to Mr. Henry Palindrome.

Dude, relax. What you need to know is that both you and Henry need to improve your English. What Henry meant was what every person who met Swiss and Israeli (or Mediterranean people) knows:
People in cold countries are usually quiet and focused and people in warmer areas are more… “jolly”.. BTW, for purposes of coming on to girls in either cold or warm areas, this information is useless.
Women are random.
You hear that Henry? Let’s see you trying to predict a women wiseguy!

I don’t get the Israeli reference, but did he not say “Swiss clock”? Is Swiss clock-work not very punctual?

Clearly one of the great minds of history.
Markram’s tenacity is something metaphysical.
The issue involves a cry for more high performance computing
more computing facilities.
More computing means faster solutions to diseases and illness.
