tech+ forum

tech+ forum | The tech+ forum was created to bring together recognized international and domestic innovation and inspiration leaders in the fields of technology, economy, culture and humanity. The name tech+ literally stands for these four contrasting but closely correlated fields.

tech+
is not just an event, but rather an intricate, strategic initiative of knowledge sharing and solution finding which will ultimately result in actions that impact domestic and global policies related to the future of industrial technology.

Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE), the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) and the Joongang Ilbo (part of JMnet, a major Korean media network), the tech+ forum aims to produce, share and spread knowledge related to technology trends in areas like convergence, open-innovation, design, green growth and the arts.

This unique public sector and media cooperation fosters a situation in which valuable knowledge (creativity, collaboration, open-innovation, etc.) and future solutions can be shared with the private sector and all members of society in general.

Features — Since its inception in 2009, tech+ forum has been acclaimed for its unique “knowledge concert” concept which provides a pivotal platform for the intellectual community to develop progressive agendas. tech+ 2010 broke records in Korea to become the largest forum of its kind attracting an audience of nearly 8000 people, including those from various fields within the business, R&D, academic, arts and technology communities.
