Under 20 Summit: San Francisco

May 3, 2013

One of the most exciting developments in 2012 was the creation and development of our Under 20 Community, which is made up of young visionaries. The spirit of young entrepreneurship has been expanded through the establishment of the Under 20 Summit, a twice-yearly weekend-long retreat that brings together Thiel applicants, mentors, and other young people who are excited about making a difference and are passionate about building a community of likeminded peers. The Under 20 Summits allow many talented young people to connect to the knowledge and resources they need (like peer collaboration, mentorship, sessions on many subject areas, and much needed community) and to take their ideas to the next level.

The last summit, in New York City, drew more than 250 attendees from around the world. The next summit will take place in San Francisco on June 1 and 2. Attendance is by invitation only; to learn more or request an invitation visit: https://www.atendy.com/event/under-20-summit-san-francisco-66337973.

The mission is abundantly clear – to create a space for young visionaries to collaborate, learn from, and inspire each other. The summits are participatory events with keynotes, breakout sessions (largely led by summiters), and office hours with mentors on both Saturday and Sunday. Sign up here to apply to lead a 60 minute breakout session.

If you are interested in the summit, but not already a member of the Under 20 Community, you can apply to join by filling out this form or by contacting [email protected] for more information.
