Steve Mann, an engineering professor at the University of Toronto, spends hours every day viewing the world through a little monitor in front of his eye connected to a wearable computer and wirelessly to the Internet.

Mann manipulates the computer through a handheld device he invented and he has experimented with putting electrodes on his skin and trying to control the cursor with brain waves. He records video with a camera embedded in the glasses and can upload pictures to “glogs” (cyborg blogs).
